ARTS CAMP for ages 6-16
July 15 - 18, Monday - Thursday 9-3
This arts camp is intended to nurture creativity, problem solving, and decision making both on an individual and shared group basis.
Participants will be offered a variety media each day including crayons, ink, watercolor, tempera, chalk, markers, and collage materials. We will also be creating a collaborative art project, a paper mache village, with each child making one or more buildings.
Explore the materials and have fun while learning about the elements of art including color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value.
On Thursday afternoon there will be a gallery display created and designed by the children. Bring your friends and to see the artwork on display!
Kathy Puciato, artist and educator with a long history and resume of working with children and teaching child development, will be heading this Arts Camp. We are so lucky to have her for the week!
