Lost Schoharie County prints

Lost Schoharie County prints

Renown photographers, Susan Daley and Steve Gross present “Lost Schoharie County” prints. Bring a part of the past home with home; these prints are for sale and a portion of each sale goes to Panther Creek Arts. Prices are reasonable, and these artists sometimes find creative ways of exchanging goods for services.

Susan Daley & Steve Gross are photographic based artists who live in New York City. They are the authors of 12 books & have had numerous gallery exhibitions, including the OK Harris Gallery of Soho. Their work examines historically architecture and landscape design, as well as the vernacular buildings found throughout America. In 2020, the Fenimore Art Museum of Cooperstown will exhibit a series of their photos entitled “Blue Gardens.”

“By starkly juxtaposing the forces of neglect and the airy ghosts of weather, these arresting

photographs add a new tension to our ancient fascinations with history, time, nature, and decay.”

--Billy Collins

Print maker, Mary Louise Kalin shows her work; another chance to bring home an original work. Bring your checkbook and check them out.

Since graduating with a B.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design, Kalin has worked as a graphic designer and gallery director while maintaining a printmaking studio in New Hampshire from 1982-1990, and from 1998 through the present in Tivoli, NY. Her prints are in numerous corporate and private collections. She is a current member of Longyear Gallery in Margaretville, NY.

When talking about her art practice, she says, "Making art has everything to do with growing up in the Catskill Mountains and on Cape Cod. I was an outside child. We walked miles up through cow pastures, made rooms in the woods, and castles and drawings in the sand in the summer. The layers, the patterns and colors of my natural surroundings are the source for my art. My reverence for nature and the environment is embedded in my images.”

Silent Auction of Very Useful Things including gas cards, oil changes, dumpsters, dinners, windows, haunted walks through abandoned cemeteries. And much more!
